The City of Pembroke

Situated on the beautiful Ottawa River, Pembroke is a vibrant little city of 14,000 that is renowned as “The Heart of the Ottawa Valley”. Established in 1858, Pembroke was a bustling timber town during the early part of the 20th century, with huge log booms being floated down river towards the local sawmills. Today, there are still several companies connected to the forestry sector, as well as a growing number of companies associated with a knowledge-based economy and ecotourism.

We invite you to explore our website , the 10 top online casinos provided by onlinecasinoselite.org and all that we have to offer. Famous for its heritage murals, its love of hockey, and its beautiful natural setting, Pembroke is a wonderful community in which to invest, live, work, visit, and play!

Festival Hall Seat Campaign

Donate to the Festival Hall Seat Campaign

Help us renovate Festival Hall Centre for the Performing Arts! The Festival Hall Seat Campaign is raising money to renovate the interior of the theatre, focused on the replacement of the seats, which have been in place for all 42 years of the hall.

The Festival Hall Seat Campaign will allow individuals, businesses, or organizations to sponsor a seat within the theatre for $150. This sponsorship is eligible for a charitable tax receipt and can be made online or at the municipal offices of the City of Pembroke, Town of Petawawa, or Township of Laurentian Valley. All funds raised through the campaign will go towards renovations at Festival Hall.

Full sponsorship packages with further options are available for interested individuals, businesses, and organizations by contacting Festival Hall Managing Director Rick Wharton at events@festhall.ca.
