The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation supports programs and services integral to the advancement of healthcare and the total well-being of the citizens of Pembroke and the surrounding communities by raising, managing and distributing funds to the Pembroke Regional Hospital. Through the tremendous support of community members, the PRH Foundation has purchased equipment and supported programs to provide “Comprehensive Healthcare… Closer to Home”. Since its inception in 2002, the support of our communities has helped us realize our major fundraising goals of a state-of-theart building expansion, the CT scan, a Satellite Dialysis Unit, and the newlyrenovated Obstetrics Ward. This year’s Black and White Gala is the PRH Foundation’s sixth annual signature fundraiser. Since 2006, we have raised over $462,000 for our Hospital! The Black and White Gala is a celebration of philanthropy and commitment to improving patient care at PRH. Funds raised are used to enhance patient care and healthcare delivery through capital improvements, the purchase of medical equipment, and the funding of programs and services at PRH.
