Art & Culture

The vibrant cultural community of the Ottawa Valley is inspired by our unique history and awesome natural beauty. Enjoy a performance or exhibit - from traditional step dancing and fiddling to a symphony of sound; rustic wood carvings to provocative old paintings; light hearted musicals to contemplative drama - truly Canadian, truly unique.

Since 1982, the Valley Arts Council (VAC) has been promoting all of the arts and artists of the Upper Ottawa Valley. The objective of the VAC is to educate the public in the arts through the provision of performances, exhibitions and festivals that display various art forms.
