Recreation & Tourism DepartmentThe Recreation and Tourism Department oversees the planning and implementation of recreation programs, bookings for city owned facilities, special events including Canada Day Festivities, Waterfront Festival, Santa Claus Parade, Snospree, and Waterfront Live. The Department manages Riverside Park Tent and Trailer Campground and the Pembroke Marina. It also maintains a Volunteer Program and actively recruits members of the community to assist with public events. It is responsible for tourism publications including the Tourism Guide, Street Map and Z card in partnership with the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association.
