Pembroke Police Service Business Plans
As a requirement of the “Police Services Act” under the Adequacy and Effectiveness Regulation, “Every Police Services Board is required to prepare a Business Plan at least once every three years that addresses the objectives, core business and functions of the Police Force, including how it provides adequate and effective police services.” (O. Reg. 3/99) As such, Strategic Business are developed to address concerns that the Pembroke Police Service presently face and anticipate in the next two years.
The objectives of Business Plans is to focus on priorities and concerns that have been determined from a number of different sources. An Environmental Scan, including different trends and our Annual Reports that affect police service delivery, Public Surveys, Focus Groups and an Internal Member Survey all contributed to the development of this Business Plan. The opinions of both internal and external stakeholders are found to be invaluable.
