Fire Safety for Industry and Business

Fire Doors
The main purpose of a fire door, is of course to provide optimum protection for persons and property. Not only do fire doors provide a way out of a building should a fire occur, but they also slow the spread of fire and smoke, allowing a safe corridor of exit.If doors are left open, smoke and heat can travel throughout a building and possibly prevent you and others from safely exiting. By keeping them closed, you ensure your safety and that of your fellow tenants.

Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers in a business should be placed conspicuously and within easy reach so they can be accessed quickly while a fire is still small.
