The City’s Building Department reviews and issues building, plumbing, demolition, sign and swimming pool permits for all development within Pembroke. The Building Department also accepts Minor Variance Applications and Consent Applications; meetings are held monthly, when warranted, by the Committee of Adjustment to make a decision regarding these applications. The Building Department oversees the Property Standards By-law and the Sign By-law.
