Pembroke Farmers' Market
Each day of the Farmers' Market
up to 30 full-time occasional vendors display a wide array of homegrown
and handmade products at its newly constructed facilities at the corner
of Lake Street and Victoria Street. The Market runs every Wednesday
and Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. between May and October.
Our produce is locally grown
and picked fresh for the market morning. Arts and craft vendors
excel with one-of-a-kind creations ... whimsical, functional and unique.
Some of the best bakers and
food vendors in the Valley showcase their tasty wares prepared with
care for your table.

CFB Petawawa is comprised of 4,400 military personnel. The civilian
labour force consists of 625 Department of National Defence employees
and 343 Non-public funds (NPF) civilian employees (base newspaper, sports
facility workers, etc). Military community (including families) is made
up of 14,000 persons.

Under a hill of limestone said by geologists to have been the bottom
of a tropical sea 500 million years ago, the caves present a weird and
entrancing sight. Guided tours are available for all ages at varying

The valley FESTIVAL, a series of live classical concerts in various

1990's. The valley FESTIVAL Concert Series, now in its Ninth Season,

Cold case files, ghosts, murder,
confession, disease epidemics, jail breaks, hangings and so much
more...
Come prepared to have your spine
tingled as you get up close and personal with Pembroke's dark past. Following
the lantern of your costumed guide through the city streets, you will
be introduced to gruesome characters of a bygone era, still eager to
share their lives. On each stop of the tour, your guide will mingle
highly entertaining personal tales with historical context as
you stand in the shadows of a former hospital, church, school,
synagogue, jail and heritage homes. A first floor tour of
a fabulous turn-of-the-century mansion is also included: the fully
restored Grey Gables Bed and Breakfast. Adventure, hilarity
and 6 months of detailed research await you.
Pembroke Haunted History tour
is held every second Friday evening from May to October starting at
7 pm across from Dairy Queen at 400 Pembroke St. East. You are
also invited to book a special tour anytime for 10 or more people. Partial
