Storage

Combustible storage should never be stored in the following areas:

* under any set of stairs that is used for a means of egress
* in any exit hallway or exit way
* in any electrical or furnace rooms.

Storage of any kind should not be put in locations that will obstruct access to an exit. Storage must also never be stored in a manner that it will interfere with the operation of sprinkler systems. All sprinkler heads should have a minimum clearance of 18 inches.
