Message for the Safe, Storage and Transporation of Propane Cylinders When transporting a cylinder for filling, place it in a secure, upright positon with the safety valve on top.  It is preferable to transport on the floor of the passenger compartment and make sure all the windows of the vehicle are open. Never leave a propane tank unattended in a vehicle and never use or store a propane barbeque, or tank indoors or in any enclosed space, including a garage.   T
