Capital Works

The Engineering Department is continuously involved in monitoring, evaluating, operating and improving the services within the City of Pembroke.  These services include:  Parks & Facilities, Roads, Sidewalks, Signs, Signals, Streetscape, Water Treatment & Distribution and Wastewater Collection and Treatment.  Major projects for the maintenance or expansion of these systems are done through capital projects.

The Engineering Department joined forces with Operations in 2002.  This department oversees all Capital Projects and projects under the mandate of Operations including Roads & Fleet, Parks & Facility, Water & Sewer and Utilities.
