In 2008, the City of Pembroke is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its founding, and the 180th anniversary of the first families settling in the area.

There is much to celebrate, and if you or your family or your organization are planning a special commemorative event or reunion, please let us know the details and we will add them to this Special Calendar of Events.

2nd Annual Give the Gift of Life Walk

Pembroke Marina

Registration is at 11:00, walk beginning at 11:30.

Heritage Dinner

Wesley United Church, 275 Pembroke St. E  at 5pm

Roast pork, baked beans, vegetables and pies will be served. Entertainment by area fiddlers, step dances and singers. Tickets at $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children will be available at the Church office until September 21 only.

Black and White Gala... Come to the Cabaret!

Normandy Officer's Mess, CFB Petawawa

Tickets cost $175 each and benefit the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation.
